About

The SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery covers 27 acres, of which 15 are developed.  The first land acquisition was by Father Anthony Rustige in 1865.  The last was a gift of the Hedden family in 1962.  The black stones at the entrance were placed in 1997.  The flagpole and the memorials to the unborn and the veterans were put in place in 2005.  Mass at the cemetery is an annual event on Memorial Day.  A board of volunteers, led by Father John Beveridge, meets each month and oversees the operation of the cemetery.  Buzz Sloan, a member of the board, is the supervisor.  Don Nevinger is senior board member, having served since 1991.  Peter Coppens is sexton/caretaker.   Pre-need purchase is strongly encouraged.  An installment plan is in place for those who so wish.  Answers regarding price and cemetery regulations can be answered by calling the Parish office.
