The Parish is Reading program focuses on getting parishioners to read faith-related books and form small groups to discuss them.  The first book read was “Rediscovering Catholicism.”  In 2011, discussions will be held on “Confessions of  a Mega Church Pastor.” Posters will be at all entrances for those who have read the book to sign up—goal is 300.  Both books were distributed at Christmas Masses in 2009 and 2010.  Why Catholic? facilitators have also been sent information to encourage doing this with their groups.
