One of the most rewarding ministries of the parish is that of Ministry to the Homebound.
This is one of the more important activities of the Legion of Mary and the Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. It is impossible to measure how much joy one brings when he/she takes the time to visit those who are either in long-term care facilities or in their own home.

Often these people are lonely and a short visit or a phone call is all that is necessary to make them feel really appreciated. Again, those who make the visits more often than not come away feeling ministered to rather than ministering. At present, we visit over fifty parishioners and could visit many more if we had new members in this ministry.
